You Want a Piece of Me-NoPause?
Going from sad to angry at myself in the blink of an eye. I say, bring on the Crone stage!
We all know and love that line from the Seinfeld episode. Okay, I changed it up a bit. From You want a piece of me - to - You want a piece of Me-NoPause?
That’s how it can feel with this ME-NO-PAUSE. At times there is no pause with me. Going straight from sad to angry at myself in no time flat. When no-one is around, I call myself the worst names… out loud.
I see why isolating is my favorite now. I think I’ve grown more into isolation and hermitville during this time of my life. I used to socialize a bit more before this BS.
I don’t have the hot flashes and maybe that is because I’m on a low dose of estrogen.
My Menopausal Symptoms:
Extreme fatigue
Mood Swings, Irritability, and Brain Fog to go along with my already diagnosed anxiety and depression
Constant stomach pain and bloat
Breast pain
Vertigo
Constant ringing in my ears
Itchy ears
No appetite yet weight gain
What are your symptoms?
I’m ready to be a crone. I think that’s what we graduate to after menopause. A crone. Right?
Who knows?!
Trying to live in the moment, be grateful, and all that sunshiny BS is hard in this stage of life.
Crone me at 55 please.
Let’s say that the crone stage is next and is like a right of passage. The stage we enter into after menopause. Recognizing our wisdom, sharing our experiences, and becoming a positive role model. That sounds heavenly right now, doesn’t it?
All our positivity can be sucked right out of us during this menopausal stage.
If that’s what we have to look forward to, I’ll take it. I’d rather not have these symptoms and be called a crone, thankyouverymuch!
Meanwhile, I’ll do what all the lovely crones have so wisely taught us menopausal women to do. Research and try anything and everything that might lesson our symptoms. Even if the symptoms lesson just a little bit.
Next time someone messes with you, ask them, “Do you want a piece of Me-NoPause?” I bet they will take pause to that. It’s all in the delivery though.
Sell it ladies!
Which menopausal symptom are you ready to be relieved of the most?

I am absolutely in love with being a crone, yet that journey to get here was a WHEW !!!!
My absolute worst symptom was the brutal insomnia.
Acupuncture and reading Susan Weed's book, Menopausal Years the Wild Women's Way saved me.
Thanks for sharing this, you made my crone heart smile. 🥰
Lori K, I am 71. I got through menopause with...a FAN (paper). That is all. Toughed it out. One single day at a time. WEW
