I’ve definitely had more of a hermit-like life since the pandemic… Completely content to stay within my home.

Hermit Life: Kicking and Screaming all the Way

“Hermit or hermit not, there is no ‘try’ “she exclaimed as she walked away.

Away from the drama – the hurt – and the company she kept.

They called her extroverted because she was looking for love. She didn’t feel love for herself.

It’s OK, they said. They told her: “a man will love you”. He’ll give you the love you don’t have for yourself.

Extroverts find love outside of themselves, they said. They make others happy.

“Others” agreed. They wanted to become happy.

The extrovert tried – to make others happy to become happy.

It didn’t work.

Happy hermits have self-love.
