Have It Your Way: Are Personalized Job Titles the Future of AI?
How I Crafted a Job Title That Resonates with My Strengths
Navigating My Role in the AI Movement
AI is moving way too fast for anyone to be an expert at this point. We are collectively and skeptically dipping our toes into the unknown.
Lately, I’ve been reflecting on where my strengths fit in with AI. What will be my roled? How can I align myself with it? Are we moving toward making up personalized job titles in the future?
Recognizing my own skills is a challenge, it’s much easier for me to see them in others. I find it deeply gratifying to identify what makes someone uniquely talented and guide them toward their dreams. While I know it’s important to recognize my own abilities, that hasn't always been my experience.
When someone recognizes a strength I didn’t realize I had and invites me to collaborate, it feels like a key opening a door I didn’t even know was there.
Have It Your Way: Finding the Right Fit for Our Strengths
Before I commit to any project, I need to make sure it’s a good fit. Am I genuinely passionate about it? Is it the right environment for me? Is it someone I trust who’s extending the invitation? Only when I can answer those questions do I know whether I have the will to move forward.
I am passionate about collaborating one-on-one, where ideas can flourish. I love guiding people through the creative process, offering insights that help align their unique talents with a direction that best fits their abilities.
Why Passionate Work Will Matter in the Near Future
As our work life evolves with the rise of AI, the importance of aligning our careers with our passions will become increasingly vital. Here are some reasons why focusing on what we love will shape the future of our work:
Increased Automation: As AI takes on routine tasks, we will have more time to focus on creative and meaningful work.
Personal Fulfillment: Pursuing passions in our careers will likely lead to greater satisfaction and happiness.
Opportunities for Innovation: With more free time, we can explore entrepreneurial ventures and develop unique job titles that resonate with their strengths.
Flexible Work Environments: The rise of remote work and digital platforms allows for greater freedom in how we structure our careers.
Focus on Impact: Aligning work with personal values can create positive change in communities and industries.
The Power of Human Connection in a Digital World
I believe there’s a lot of power in human connection, something AI can’t fully replicate. AI can suggest ideas, sure, but there’s something deeper in talking through passions and goals one-on-one… with another human.
My dream job would be working as an online consultant in a company that creates the tools. I’d love to brainstorm ways to improve the school system with AI. I also want to help collaborate and guide them to create tools that empower the elderly and disabled.
It’s in these collaborative settings that I can really make a difference. I recognize the strengths of others and can guide them toward solutions that improve lives.
