Not a lady, but one thing I have noticed on my life: Not one time have I ever wished to go back to who I used to be.

Oh sure, I’d love the physical vitality of my early 20s again, but not any other part of being that age again. I would not trade who I am for who I was.

So true! Not once have I wished to go back. I have been around people who get caught up in that unattainable dream though.

I like what you are doing. Yes, I always had rather write or read a story. I feel that I cannot know every person to tell anyone here is an equation for life. Plus, I feel I am living the experience and talking about instead of lecturing about it. But, don't people want lists? I have been told this over and over, and over.

I think you’re commenting on a different post I wrote about lists and that’s all good.

I’ve heard lists are good for SEO and they are good if I want to get to the point of answering a question. I just keep seeing the same lists used over and over again and would much rather see more stories. I’m sure it’s just a matter of preference and if it’s used to boost a website to get more eyes on it or not. I agree with what you said, “I feel I am living the experience and talking about instead of lecturing about it.” Thanks so much for reading and commenting!!

Love Gen X humor. I wouldn't say I'm celebrating yet, but I'm definitely coming out of my shell more, taking cautious risks, and staying curious. I said to my husband the other day, "I hate getting old," but then I thought about that comment and said, "I guess I'd rather get old than the alternative."

Yay, another GenXer?! Coming out of the shell and taking cautious risks is a good way of looking at it. Yeah, the alternative is worse. Thank you so much for reading and commenting!!!
